- Lecture Announcement: Jonathan Wolff (Chair, Dept of Philosophy, University College
London) will be giving a public lecture on Tuesday, 7 November 2007, at 5.30pm in New
North 204. His talk, "Disability and Status Enhancement," will build on his earlier
paper "Disability Among Equals". Professor Wolff will "look at (a) how to decide which
social policies are best for disabled people and (b) how to decide how to weight the
claims of disabled people against those of other disadvantaged groups." The event
is open to all members of the Georgetown community and the general public.
