The Newsletter of The Network on Ethics and Intellectual Disabilities

The Network on Ethics and Intellectual Disabilities was established to support the efforts of those engaged in, or committed to, health care ethics who are concerned about the position of mentally handicapped persons in society and to enable them to share their interests and concerns in this field with others who have similar interests in ethical dimensions of intellectual disability. It is associated with the International Association of Bioethics, but membership in the network does not include membership in the IAB.

The Network publishes a free newsletter to stimulate the exchange of views and ideas among people from various backgrounds and is not committed to any particular school of thought. We plan to publish brief articles and case studies, book reviews, bibliography, and announcements of meetings. Information on ethical, social, and legal developments regarding mental disability can be sent to the editors.
