Support the Kennedy Institute

Bioethics institutes—centers for scholarly thought and debate—are a critical component in meeting some of the most pressing issues of the 21st century: the myriad and distinctive moral challenges that arise in the new findings and issues in medicine, the environment, and emerging technologies. Building upon its storied success, the Kennedy Institute of Ethics aims to help address these issues by preparing well-educated and conscientious citizens and leaders for the coming ethical challenges.

Our scholars have defined the field of bioethics since its inception, and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics continues to be a hub of bioethical inquiry as the next generation of scholars come to the forefront of the field. The Institute serves not only academics and students, but also is a resource for the public; it is the home of the world's largest and most extensive collection of materials on ethics, medicine, and biomedical research.

As we enter our fifth decade, we are launching a series of initiatives designed to maintain our eminence and leadership in the field.
