Acting Director Dr. Daniel Sulmasy Speaks at the Completed Life Conference
On September 17th, 2020, KIE Acting Director Dr. Dan Sulmasy participated as a speaker on a panel entitled “A Case for Objections and Concerns” for the Completed Life Conference. As part of a six-week virtual conference that investigates the idea of a “completed life,” Dr. Sulmasy engaged in conversation with Gloria Ramsey, JD, RN to discuss ethical concerns and objections on the concept of a completed life.
Some of the topics covered included considering what a completed life might look like, palliative care, and the question of trust in the medical profession.
