KIE Senior Research Scholar Dr. Karen Stohr and KIE postdoctoral fellow Dr. Kelly Heuer were featured speakers at the annual Casey-McIlvane Lecture at Georgetown, sponsored by Friends of the Georgetown Libraries.
The topic this year was “Bioethics & the Revolution in Higher Education,” and discussion focused on the Jesuit mission behind Georgetown’s decision to produce a series of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and the opportunities and challenges facing the team putting together the KIE’s Introduction to Bioethics MOOC, respectively.
