KIE Scholar Helps Plan Major International Conference

From the Georgetown School of Nursing and Health Studies:

KIE Senior Clinical Scholar Carol Taylor, PhD, RN, professor of nursing, and Robert Barnet, M.D., adjunct professor of nursing, were on the scientific planning committee for the eighth International Conference on Clinical Ethics and Consultation in São Paulo, Brazil, which took place from May 16-19.

Taylor spoke on, “Buying Time, The Ethics of Waiting,” and Barnet’s presentation covered, “Issues of Fairness in Health Care Systems.”
