KIE Scholar to present at NYU workshop

This May, KIE Senior Research Scholar Henry Richardson will be one among a select lineup of speakers at the NYU Workshop on Current Controversies in Bioethics.

The workshop is designed around thirteen “significant figures in bioethics who will pair up to address and offer contrasting views on five current issues” in the field, according to conference organizers.

Topics will include addiction and moral responsibility; psychopathy, autism, and capacities for responsible agency, reproductive ethics and the non-identity problem; the justification of ancillary care duties; and issues of justice in health care allocation and administration.

Speakers will include Nir Eyal (Harvard), Zofia Stemplowska (Oxford), and David Wasserman (National Institute of Health). (A full list of all thirteen speakers is available on the conference website.)
