Mark directs the Bioethics Research Library in its scholarly mission to provide exceptional services, curate unique knowledge collections, support collaborative research projects, and host an engaging space for active scholarship.
Mark holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown’s Communication, Culture, and Technology program and a BA in Environmental Studies from Cornell College. Mark is active in promoting open access through institutional repositories. He is co-chair of the Digital Georgetown Steering committee and has presented on the BRL’s open repository project and Bioethics Commission archives. Mark has also contributed open source code to the University Library’s GitHub repository to find Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for items in their collections.
