Samantha leads the Institute's internal and external communication efforts. In this role she works across online platforms to share the Institute's and its scholars' research, events, and opportunities for outreach and external involvement.
Samantha is an Indiana University alumna, where she completed an individualized degree in Bioethics with a certificate in Political and Civic Engagement. During her time at Indiana, she completed comprehensive research on the ethics and political ramifications of limited healthcare accessibility and affordability for Hepatitis C patients. Prior to joining the Institute, Samantha advised large healthcare providers and payers on issues of regulatory compliance and policy. She is also the co-founder of the Lane 9 Project, a non-profit dedicated to creating a community for active women and girls recovering from eating disorders, the female athlete triad, and issues relating to body image and disordered eating.
