Reynolds presents webinar on disability and health disparities at Catholic Health Association

On January 8, 2025 Joel Michael Reynolds, PCCB faculty member, Kennedy Institute of Ethics senior scholar, and associate professor of philosophy and disability studies, presented a webinar titled “The Health of People with Disabilities: Addressing Ableism and Disparities in the Clinic” at the Catholic Health Association.

In the webinar, he presented both broad outlines and nuances in the concept of ableism and provided some examples of how ableism manifests in clinical practice, along with recommendations for practitioners.
