KIE Senior Research Scholar and Director of Ethics Lab Maggie Little shares and reflects on experiences from the virtual classroom in 2020 during the webinar Jesuit Ideals & Ethical Principles Animating Our Classrooms. Prof. Little was joined by Father Peter Folan, S.J., Assistant Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies.
Hosted by the Georgetown University Alumni Career Services, Julia Farr (C’88, Parent ’19, ’21, ’24), Executive Director of the Georgetown University Alumni Association, guided the conversation. Prof. Little and Fr. Folan shared experiences from the virtual classroom, and exciting approaches that keep students engaged during challenging times. In discussing how to prepare the next generation of leaders, the conversation navigates how students can wrestle with some of the world’s most complex problems, while simultaneously considering the mark they want to make on the world.
