KIE’s Sulmasy featured on WHYY (Philadelphia) program on the debate over assisted suicide
on April 29, 2025, in response to a bill in Delaware that would legalize assisted suicide for terminally ill patients, NPR affiliate WHYY’s Studio 2 hosted a discussion of the issue with retired Delaware State Representative Paul Baumbach arguing in favor of the bill and Dr. Dan Sulmasy, director of the Kennedy Institute making the case against the practice. The program included the voices of listeners who shared their experiences in addition to advocates on both sides of the issue.
