GU Bioethics Team wins 2023 national championship in Bioethics Bowl

KIE and the GU Philosophy Department congratulate the Georgetown undergraduate Bioethics team on winning the championship at the 2023 National Bioethics Bowl on April 15th at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. The Bioethics Bowl is an annual tournament bringing teams from colleges and universities around the country to discuss ethical challenges in biomedicine and technology. Head coach Elisa Reverman and assistant coach Jacob Zionts are graduate students in the Philosophy department. The team defeated the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the finals.
