The KIE 50th Anniversary Symposium

Dear Symposium Participants, Colleagues, and Friends, 

All of us at The Kennedy Institute of Ethics thank you for your participation in the 50th Anniversary Symposium on Bioethics which celebrated the Institute’s past accomplishments, showcased our current work and shared our future plans. 

The sessions from the Symposium, including the closing panel on pandemic ethics, will remain available on the Symposium website. You will also be able to access the bibliography on the topics covered by the Symposium that was so expertly curated by our librarians in the Bioethics Research Library.

Thank you again for helping us celebrate 50 years of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (and 30 years of the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics ) at Georgetown!  The Symposium marked the start of our anniversary celebration that will run throughout the coming academic year. Further events, including next year’s Intensive Bioethics Course, will be announced on the KIE website.
